MapmyIndia and European company Sygic have announced the launch of MapmyIndia Sygic Mobile Maps. The application offers an intuitive GPS navigation solution for a variety of platforms, including Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian and the iPhone.
The application, once installed, is stored on your phone/SD card. This means that you do not require a GPRS or data connection to get them working. What's more, there are no subscription or recurring charges.
A million points of interest (POIs) loaded with the app help you find anything from restaurants to airports. Many POIs also come with a direct telephone number.
